The Department of International Cooperation for Medical Education is responsible for promoting an international level of educational cooperation in medical education. We demonstrate leadership in international cooperation projects related to medical education, mainly in developing countries, aiming for “face-to-face” and “interpersonal communication.” Also, regarding international cooperation in medical education at home and abroad, we strive for information gathering, humane interaction, and support related projects in Japan. Furthermore, we are also working on human resource development as the only academic institution in Japan in the field.
