The Department of International Cooperation for Medical Education, International Research Center for Medical Education, Graduate School of Medicine, The University of Tokyo disseminates basic theories on medical/health professions education domestically and internationally, thereby improving health care.
In particular, our strengths include learner assessment, program evaluation, clinical reasoning/clinical decision making, general practice/family medicine/primary care, health communication, and patient-health-provider relationship. In addition, we are involved in human resource development in the field of health care and its international cooperation, and support projects related to medical/ health professions education in Japan and overseas.
