Education

The Department of International Cooperation for Medical Education offers both master and doctoral programs in School of International Health in the University of Tokyo. The master program is a two-year program, and the doctoral program is a three-year program. If you consider applying for admission to the doctoral program, only master degree holders or those who expect to graduate from a master program.

Both master and doctoral programs consist of (1) course work and (2) research for graduation thesis. A variety of research in medical education and family medicine/primary care/general practice is possible, including experimental research, observational research, exploratory research, and translational research. You can use qualitative and/or quantitative methodologies.
